The Coolers are an eight-piece horn driven band that initially focused on Delbert McClinton style Texas blues and southern soul ala Aretha Franklin and Etta James.

Since their inception in 2009 the band has incorporated more funk, rock and other influences and includes a healthy helping of Steely Dan in the set list. The common denominator is that all the material will get you dancing, and for those not on the dance floor there is plenty of ear candy provided by multiple talented soloists and powerhouse lead vocals. Since their debut, the Coolers have been firing up dance floors around Southern Arizona and have been featured in several SABHF blues festivals.
