The band was born during the pandemic, when guitarist Mike Blommer, harmonica player Steven Michael Jonas and bassist Larry Lee Lerma took to their driveways to lift spirits and play for their neighbors — who brought out chairs, socially distanced, and found comfort in the music. From those humble beginnings, The Porch Rockers quickly grew into a powerhouse act known for their gritty, soulful performances.

With two Arizona Blues Hall of Fame inductees — Mike Blommer and Larry Lee Lerma — anchoring the band, their sound is deeply rooted in tradition but always alive with fresh energy. Steven Michael Jonas brings a worldly flavor to the group with his harmonica and powerful vocals, drawing on years of experience playing in Boston, Toronto, Austin, Osaka, and Tokyo. Justin Donaldson locks it all down with rock-solid grooves on drums.
