Few Tucson bands have had such explosive success since 2006 as CORNERSTONE.  From their exciting covers, including some awesome variety; Rock, Country, Blues, Oldies, and Motown tunes, they keep you dancing for sure.

CORNERSTONE has gained a solid reputation as Tucson’s latest premier dance, party, and show band. If you look at the band’s experience, it’s no surprise. The members of CORNERSTONE are no strangers to the performing world, with an incredible number of years-combined experience playing and recording from coast-to-coast. The chemistry that has evolved from these four musicians and gifted entertainers coming together is amazing. 

Paul McAllan is a multi-talented musician and singer. McAllan has played lead guitar in several different types of bands over the last 40 years. Whether it’s his exciting chicken pickin’ lead guitar, his jazz infused solo breaks or his lightning-fast licks you can hear how Paul is such a dynamic contributor to CORNERSTONE’s sound. Paul played professionally in the New Orleans area for over 25 years doing 10-12 gigs a week!

Rhythm guitarist and band leader, Bruce Guercio, performs many styles of music – from country to rock and beyond. Guercio adds his classic rock background and his rocking country-flavor bluesy harmonica to CORNERSTONE. His mesmerizing vocals and songwriting talents compliment Bruce’s dynamic acoustic guitar playing. His years of experience on stage and in the studio give CORNERSTONE their unique dimension.

Bass player, Doc Peterson, adds the driving pulse that gets people dancing. Peterson combines his impressive bass guitar playing with a natural ability to get the crowd revved up. Doc has been active in the Tucson live music scene for over 35 years. He has performed with several bands showcasing different genres of music.

Drummer, Paul Daniel, brings an upbeat and energized style to the stage. Paul grew up on what are now oldies of the late 50’s and 60’s and, of course, the Beatles. In the mid-70’s, he found out how much fun playing music really is and his intensity is captured in every song from the moment CORNERSTONE steps on stage.
