Garrett James and the Wanderers are a young blues-rock band from Tucson, Arizona, named after their lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Garrett James. They play a mix of blues, rock, and R&B with a vintage sound inspired by classic blues-rock artists.
The band formed while the members were in high school and started playing local dances and small gigs throughout southern Arizona. They've competed in local music competitions. Garrett James and the Wanderers won the group category at the Proof Is In the Pudding competition hosted by the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Centers and opened for well-known artists at big events.
Their original songs and covers blend blues, rock, and R&B and feature individual musical influences from all members.
